About Gina

 Gina is a proud Jersey girl from Farmingdale, NJ. As an NYC-based performer, choreographer, and educator, she has worked with the NJ Arts Collective (Director: Darren Gage) and Poughkeepsie NY’s Half Moon Theatre (Director: Michael Schiralli).  Gina was also the original choreographer of HIT HER WITH THE SKATES, a new musical written by Christine Rea- Briskin/Rick Briskin, and now starring American Idol finalists Diana Degarmo and Ace Young.  

Recent performance credits include: Saturday Night Fever (Fireside Theatre), Annie (Fireside Theatre),  Evita (Riverside Theatre), and Dreamgirls (Skyline Theatre Company).

She holds a Masters degree in Dance Education from Rutgers University Graduate School of Education, and a BFA in Dance Performance from Mason Gross School of the Arts. She subsequently holds a Department of Education PK-12 Teaching Certification with Advanced Standing in Dance.

 

Gina has taught throughout the NJ area at schools such as Tenafly High School, Piscataway High School, North Brunswick's School of the Arts, and as a workshop instructor for Mason Gross School of the Art's Summer Dance Camp and Conservatory.

When Gina isn't performing, you can catch her instructing at Xtend Barre Tribeca, NYC. She loves Rook Coffee, turquoise, and sandy toes.
